Rohit Pinto is a Pediatric Intensivist working in North Brooklyn, New York. He received his Medical Degree in Mumbai India, and having grown up in Mumbai is well aware of the diversity of practices and limitations in resources, both financial and medical when it comes to caring for a child.

He completed his General Pediatric residency training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, in Brooklyn New York and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. He is an integral member of our Board of Directors and is active medical volunteer for PULSE since it's inception.

Rohit recognizes that in the strive to care for sick children there is a lot of hesitancy from physicians who do not primarily look after children on a regular basis, but are the first line of care. Teaching and training both pediatricians and Adult physicians and nurses who would be the first responders would make large strides in a child's acute care. This awareness along with Telemedicine support can have a direct impact on improved outcomes for critically ill children.

He lends a lively sense of humor to often difficult work and mission settings.
